Conflict of Interests

IIC (hereinafter referred to as “Company”) has the commitment to impartiality, understands the importance of impartiality, manages the conflict of interest and ensures the objectivity of the management system certification activity. Company will notify you through the website announcement (or individual notice) when revising the declaration of conflict of interests.

All internal and external personnel of Company must notify of any following threats to impartiality that may include but are not limited to:
a. Self-interest: threats that arise from a person or body acting in their own interest (including financial self-interest).
b. Self-review: threats that arise from a person or body reviewing the work done by themselves. (Both auditing and providing management systems consultancy on same client).
c. Familiarity (or trust): threats that arise from a person or body being too familiar with or trusting of another person instead of seeking audit evidence.
d. Intimidation: threats that arise from a person or body having a perception of being coerced openly or secretively, such as a threat to be replaced or reported to a supervisor.
